Face masks and social distancing: Due to the rising prevalence of COVID-19 in our communities, we strongly encourage healthcare staff and visitors to wear a face covering in all of our settings, particularly in clinical areas and those with high footfall. The Afan Cluster is made up of eight GP practices: Afan Valley Group Practice, SBU HB Managed Practice (Cwmavon and Cymmer Health Centre), Fairfield Medical Centre, King’s Surgery, Mount Surgery, Riverside Surgery, Cwmavon Health Centre and Rosedale Medical Practice.
The cluster serves a registered population of 50,845 patients in urban and semi-rural environments.
