More about working for us

We believe staff are our best asset and we want you to be happy and confident about starting your career here in Swansea Bay University Health Board.

We employ people across a range of jobs in the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot areas. Vacancies can be available at our main sites at Morriston Hospital, Singleton Hospital and Neath Port Talbot Hospital, as well as our smaller hospitals, in the community or at our Headquarters in Baglan.

We regularly hold recruitment open days so keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter accounts for the latest details.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

We recognise the importance of having a workforce that reflects the different groups of people that make up our local community. We are confident that valuing diversity helps us to deliver services that take into account the needs of everyone in our community.

We are an inclusive employer and welcome applications from everyone whatever their sex; religion or belief; race; age; sexual orientation; gender identity or, whether they are pregnant or have recently been on maternity leave, married or are in a civil partnership; or, whether they are disabled.

We have a LGBT+ Staff and Allies Network, Calon, that provides networking opportunities and peer support. Further information is available by emailing Calon.LGBTStaffNetwork@wales.nhs.uk.

We have a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Staff Network to celebrate ethnic and cultural diversity, to raise cultural understanding, improve staff support, and boost patient care across our Health Board. Further information is available by emailing SBU.BMEStaffNetwork@wales.nhs.uk.
