We are committed to providing both excellent end-of-life care and specialist support to anyone who has a life-limiting condition wherever you are across the region.
This is one of the top priorities within our health board, and this support also extends to a patient’s family and carers.
End-of-life care is support for people, regardless of their age, who are in the last months or years of their life. If you have an illness that cannot be cured, we will aim to makes you as comfortable as possible by managing your pain and other distressing symptoms. This is palliative care.
Below you can find an explanation of each condition, the care provided and the health care specialists who deliver it.
