Specialist Palliative Care team

Our team works alongside colleagues from across the health board. Our work includes supporting young people with palliative care needs through transition into adult palliative care services.

Who we are

• Multi-professional team (doctors, nurses, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, social worker, chaplain, volunteers)

• Dr Gwen Davies - Consultant and Clinical Lead for the department

Specialist Inpatient Unit – 12 beds

• Base – Tŷ Olwen, Morriston Hospital

• Team of registered nurses and health care support workers, physiotherapist and occupational therapist and trainee doctors

• Social worker
