A single Managed Clinical Network (MCN) for cleft lip and/or palate services has been established for South Wales and the South West of England. Its purpose is to
Organise and co-ordinate the delivery of an integrated cleft lip and/or palate service and non-cleft Velopharyngeal Dysfunction.
To improve the quality of service delivery and impact of cleft care through a multi-centre, multi-specialist team working throughout the network that provides a high quality patient centred approach to care, with a focus on measured outcomes as part of an enhanced range of services.
