Please avoid using our canteens at present. There are vending machines available on our sites if you need refreshments.

Please note that SBUHB supports a zero tolerance stance for any abusive behaviour towards staff due to variances in visiting guidance for different patient groups.

Welcome to the Labour Ward at Singleton Hospital.

Here we have the full range of facilities from birthing rooms - one of which has a birthing pool - to fully equipped obstetric theatres.

You and your baby will be cared for by a range of health professionals from midwives to specialist doctors.

Should your baby be born early or need extra support, our neonatal unit is close by.

If you and baby are well, you can go home shortly after the birth and will be supported by our community midwives.

If you and baby require additional care, you will be supported on the post-natal ward.

Go to this page to read more about our services for newborn babies.
