Diet

Introduction

Dietitians are members of the diabetes team because understanding how food effects glucose levels is key to managing diabetes.

We are able to advise on suitable food choices and explain how carbohydrate in particular effects glucose levels.

We can also provide information on how to improve and help keep blood glucose levels stable with suitable portions of meals and snacks.

We offer group education or individual appointments face-to-face, over the phone or video call.
