I need a blood test. What do I do?

  • Have your usual blood tests – if you require a blood form please contact us on the Clinical Nurse Specialist helpline 01792 205666 ext 36341 and leave a SHORT message along with your hospital number, name and date of birth.
  • Contact us when you have had blood tests and require a new prescription
  • You may be able to access a new patient system to make this process easier. It is called `Patients Know Best` (PKB). You will need an email address to set this up. Let us know what it is and we can arrange for you to register. Further information can be found on www.patientsknowbest.com

    FBC, U&E, LFT, Fasting lipids & Plasma Glucose

    Azathorprine

    FBC, U&E, LFT

    Methotrexate

    FBC, U&E, LFT

    Isotretinoin

    Female patients- monthly pregnancy test or HCG blood test (first month repeat FBC, U&E, LFT, Fasting lipids)
