Prof. Ceri Battle PhD, BSc (Hons), BA (Hons), Epidemiology

About Me

My research interest is emergency medicine epidemiology, with emphasis on risk stratification and patient outcomes.

My role as Lead Epidemiologist for the Welsh Centre for Emergency Medicine Research is to provide the background epidemiological research that underpins the biomedical work carried out in a number of fields including sepsis, cancer and trauma.

I have recently been awarded a Research for Public and Patient Benefit Grant for £227,000 by Health and Care Research Wales, to complete a multi-centre trial testing our previously developed risk stratification model for chest trauma management
