About Me

I completed the scientific training programme in September 2023 as the first trainee clinical scientist in Wales to specialise in non-ionising radiation.

I joined the MRI Physics team as a Health and Care Professions Council registered clinical scientist in October 2023.

Prior to working at Swansea Bay University Health Board, I completed my MPhys at the University of Manchester in 2019 where I researched zincblende InGaN/GaN quantum wells.

Clinical research is an area I want to be closely involved with during my career.

My masters project focused on the use of deep learning reconstruction algorithms to reduce scan time and improve quality of diffusion-weighted imaging and diffusion kurtosis imaging for whole body imaging.

Safely implementing innovative techniques such as deep learning is something I am passionate about and I will continue with this work as part of my role as a MR Physicist.
