Cardiothoracic Surgery

Our cardiothoracic surgery centre performs surgery on the heart, lungs and chest including bypass and open heart surgery for the whole south Wales west region.

Surgery can be planned in advance or done in an emergency.

Patients are at the centre of everything we do and we have dedicated, trained staff to care for your needs.

We have the Cyril Evans ward as well as the ITU (intensive care unit) and HDU (high dependancy unit).
