Reference Management Software Policy

Health Board Staff

Library services have a limited number of licences which allow user to download the full and current version of EndNote in perpetuity.

Users who wish to apply for a licence must be a member of the library service; users can follow this link to join online. When requesting a licence, users are asked to contact their local Health Board Library with the following information:

  • Name, Email address, Library account number, Role & Department
  • Purpose of licence request, eg research, systematic review

Decisions on allocating licences will take into account:

  • Role and contract of requester
  • Purpose of licence eg systematic review project, research project
  • Involvement of Health Board Research & Development Department

Please note one Endnote licence will be allocated per project

Users’ names and contact details will be recorded on a centrally held spreadsheet.

Please note – staff and students who are undertaking a course or have a teaching role at a University which provides EndNote or other bibliographic management software are encouraged to use this source.
