Art Psychotherapist
Art Psychotherapist
I am an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Swansea Bay University Health Board. I support children and young people through art-making alongside talking, helping them explore and express difficult thoughts and emotions, especially when words feel hard to find. My work often involves using art-making and creative approaches to enhance communication, develop emotional regulation, explore coping strategies, process trauma, and strengthen self-understanding. I collaborate closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, and I’m passionate about making therapy accessible, empowering, and tailored to each young person’s needs.
