Work Experience at Swansea Bay University Health Board

We support a range of pathways into health and care careers.

At present, we are developing a new Work Experience Framework for future opportunities. While this framework is in development, we can offer limited work experience opportunities.

 

Medical and Dental Work Observation (Doctor Shadowing)

We are currently unable to offer medical or dental work observation placements, including shadowing or observing doctors or dentists, in any clinical area. This applies to all specialties and settings across the Health Board.

 

Age Restrictions

During this present time, candidates need to be over the age of 18 to be offered a work experience placement within Swansea Bay UHB.

Please note that availability is limited, and submitting an enquiry does not guarantee that a placement can be offered. These arrangements are subject to ongoing review, and this page will be updated in line with any changes.
