A charity donation to the tune of £150 has been presented to staff at Morriston Hospital by a grateful mother and daughter.
Adriana Morgan organised a fun day at her car business, The Tuning Company on Swansea’s Fabian Way.
It was in aid of the Breast Reconstruction Unit at Morriston where her mother – also called Adriana – has been receiving treatment.
Mum Adriana Linciano said visitors to the business had a chance to buy pizza slices and cupcakes.
“We explained to people what we were raising funds for and they were very happy to donate,” Mrs Linciano said.
“It was such a success, we are planning to do another day again.”
Mother and daughter visited Morriston hospital to hand over the £150 they raised through the event.
Breast reconstruction nurse Julia Warwick said she was delighted with the donation.
“These funds really help us to support the women who are going through their treatment.
“By having these donations, we can provide additional support groups and training courses that goes above NHS funding.”

Mrs Linciano said: “Julia really is one of a kind, she cares so much about her patients. For me, it’s been a long journey, nearly a year, but I’m getting there now. I really wanted to do something to help.”
