About Me

Assistant Behaviour Specialist

Hi, I'm Hayley.

  • My role - I support the clinicians in the team undertaking assessments and providing intervention to children with a learning disability and who display behaviours that challenge. I work within the family home, in school and in respite services. I have also helped develop educational digital resources for our families.
  • Past experience - I have always worked in the field of challenging behaviour, firstly in a secure children’s home and then in respite services for children with disabilities. It was there that I became aware of Facing the Challenge, working together to support one of our service users. I knew then that this was a service I wanted to be a part of.
  • Hobbies and interests - I love being outdoors, running or walking my dogs on the beach. I love reading, going to festivals and spending time with my family.
  • Education background - I have a degree in psychology with criminology and a master’s degree in health psychology.
