Face masks and social distancing: Due to the rising prevalence of COVID-19 in our communities, we strongly encourage healthcare staff and visitors to wear a face covering in all of our settings, particularly in clinical areas and those with high footfall. Please exercise a common-sense approach and personal responsibility to help us reduce the impact of COVID-19 on our patients, workforce and services. In addition to wearing a face covering, it is important to continue to maintain social distancing where possible. Thank you for your continued support and co-operation at this time. We continue to regularly review our advice based on prevalence in our communities and our hospitals.

Wellbeing through Work's In-Work Support Service

Is a muscle or joint problem causing you problems in work?

If you are on sickness absence or struggling to stay in work because of a muscle and joint problem (such as neck, hip or back pain) and would like support to help manage your condition, you can get rapid access telephone or virtual appointments with our dedicated NHS physiotherapists from Wellbeing through Work.

Click here for the wellbeing through work referral form.

Our Physios can provide a range of work-related advice and guidance to help you manage your musculoskeletal problem in an effective and positive way. Support may include personal exercise programmes, a paced/graded approach to exercise, or advice on how to manage your symptoms at work. Our physio’s can also undertake a free workplace assessment (with your employers consent) and provide a report with recommendations or adjustments aimed at helping you remain in, or return to work

There’s no need for a referral from a doctor, you can call or email us yourself and one of our friendly team members will arrange an appointment.

We also have a range of online webinars with helpful tips and advice, in addition to our bi-weekly virtual physio clinics. You can register for all of these sessions via Eventbrite

Our In-Work Support Service is free and confidential and available to anyone who is employed or self-employed and either living or working within Swansea, Neath Port Talbot or Bridgend County Boroughs.
